• General Membership Meetings - JAHU offers several classes each year at our membership meetings. These are open to members and non-members and always provide relevant & useful information at an affordable price.

On-line curriculum allows instantly select state approved education for your state and have your credits processed for you automatically. NAHU receives $10 for each test taken through the NAHU website. Begin taking advantage of your member education benefits today.

• NAHU - NAHU's Education Department focuses on a variety of continuing education opportunities available to NAHU members.

Leading Producers' Round Table  This NAHU award recognizes Agents, Carrier Representatives, Agency Management and Carrier Management based on their production for specific products. Qualifiers are recognized at the Annual Convention and receive additional benefits and discounts.

Cover Florida (effective January 2009)   Gives Uninsured Floridians who have been without insurance for at least 6 months, or who are recently unemployed the opportunity to have preventative or catastrophic coverage.

Volunteers in Medicine  Volunteer-run medical clinic providing primary medical services to the working uninsured of Jacksonville.

Florida Healthy Kids  Health coverage for uninsured children 5-18 who are not eligible for Medicaid.

Florida Kidcare  Health coverage for uninsured children under 19 with the family meeting income requirements.

FAHU  Florida Association of Health Underwriters is a non-profit organization of insurance professionals in Florida dedicated to serving the public by strengthening the insurance marketplace, advocating for effective legislation, ethical leadership and professional standards, and by educating our members and the consumers they serve.

NAHU  National Association of Health Underwriters - NAHU represents licensed healtlh insurance agents, brokers, consultants and benefit professionals all over the United States who serve the health insurance needs of employers and individuals seeking health insurance coverage. 

NAIFA - JACKSONVILLE  The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors comprises more than 700 state and local associations representing the interests of 200,000 members and their associates nationwide. NAIFA members focus their practices on one or more of the following: life insurance and annuities, health insurance and employee benefits, multiline, and financial advising and investments. NAIFA-Jacksonville, founded in 1926, is the local association and serves the members located in the Northeast Florida area of the state with about 400 members.
